The exact project or site has not yet been identified.
Isabella began in 1875 with Isabella Uhl's wish to shelter older women who had no home or family. A century later the Washington Heights campus was pioneering a continuum of independent housing, nursing and social services. Its 14-story nursing-home building opened in 1972, so Joseph's 1976 entry records a later phase still waiting to be identified.
