Federal Reserve Plaza — 33 Maiden Lane
Joseph's 1983 date lands exactly on a City Planning modification for the new 33 Maiden Lane project, one year before its public spaces were completed.

33 Maiden Lane at the corner of Nassau Street and running to John Street in the Financial District of Manhattan, New York City was built in 1984-86 and was designed by Philip Johnson & John…. Photographed in 2013; a current view, not a construction-period photograph.

“33 Maiden Lane — 1983”
NYC Planning records a June 23, 1983 CPC modification for 33 Maiden Lane and dates completion of its required public spaces to 1984.
The city approval record lets us place Joseph's shorthand inside the actual development sequence rather than forcing it to match a single 'year built' date.
What Kelly did here
Family source
Strong
Very likely major exterior brick masonry—buff/tan brick piers, arches, spandrels and wall systems—plus CMU/service masonry. Exact Kelly quantities and whether HRH awarded one or multiple masonry packages still require subcontract/specification proof.
This scope is recorded as strong, not documented. It is a disciplined reading of the building and the trade practice of the period, not a contract-level record of Kelly’s work.
