“Brooks Brothers - Eastchester — Undated”
Vernon Hills was developed in the 1950s and Brooks Brothers became a longtime tenant at 696 White Plains Road. Nike now operates its Scarsdale store at that same address.
Brooks Brothers became such a familiar Eastchester landmark that nearby businesses gave directions by saying they were 'behind Brooks Brothers.' The building survived even after the store did not; Nike now occupies the former Brooks Brothers location.
