Convent Ave Telephone — 1966

Why it matters

A separate subcontractor archive confirms Joseph's work year and reveals that his job was one layer in a telephone building that has been continuously technologically rewritten for more than a century.

Scope confidence

Probable

Likely: selective masonry alteration/restoration: likely brick or stone repair/rebuilding, repointing, opening/infill work, plus new CMU/block backing or partitions where the renovation required them.

This scope is recorded as probable, not documented. It is a disciplined reading of the building and the trade practice of the period, not a contract-level record of Kelly’s work.

03Who built it

The construction team

The construction team for this job has not yet been established.
