LILCO's Glenwood Landing plant was once called the key generating station of the Long Island system: its control room managed electricity across the island. The complex became a rare monumental piece of suburban industrial architecture before its older steam buildings were decommissioned and dismantled between 2013 and 2015. Joseph's 1952 entry likely belongs to a later expansion, but the exact package remains open.
