Architectural Record's 1981 project feature establishes the new 101 Barclay Operations Center team and envelope; Rita's 1982 date falls inside the active construction period.
A major late-modern bank operations center whose all-glass exterior sharply narrows Kelly's most plausible work to concealed CMU, core and service masonry.
v3.5.39 completion-date reconciliation: Rockefeller Group says completion 1983; NYC preservation inventory is ~1983; CVU gives 1985. Treat as a single 1982–85 project with phased completion/occupancy uncertainty, not as conflicting identities.
