Barclays Bank of New York
Rita recorded “Barclays Bank of New York” for 1977.

Institution context: the Colgate-Palmolive Building, 300 Park Avenue, which housed Barclays Bank of New York. It does not establish Kelly's 1977 alteration and is not confirmed as Joseph's project building.

“Barclays Bank of New York — 1977”
The exact project or site has not yet been identified.
Barclays expanded at 300 Park Avenue just before Rita's 1977 date: surviving Uris records document additional ground-floor and basement space plus lease modifications and floor plans. That makes this less a vague bank name than a promising paper trail into a specific Midtown fit-out.
