“Plumbers Union — 1973”
The exact project or site has not yet been identified.
The terse 'Plumbers Union' entry places Joseph's masonry work beside another building trade whose pipes, risers and mechanical rooms had to fit through the walls his crews built. New York's historic plumbing locals ultimately consolidated into today's Local 1. Rita did not record which local or building, so the visual is clearly labeled union context and the 1973 commission remains open.
