Why it matters

Rita's shorthand points strongly to P.S. 92 at the corner of Parkside and Rogers Avenues. The school is paired with Parkside Playground, which opened in 1956 as part of the school complex—eight years after Joseph's entry—and the corner remains a neighborhood anchor. The match is strong, but the 1948 contract or alteration still needs a contemporary record.
